GTA VI appears to be aiming for an even more detailed simulation of the world, although the precise handling model can only be judged properly after release. Good vehicle controls should make driving enjoyable without becoming unnecessarily difficult. This balance is critical because players may spend a large portion of their time behind the wheel. A strong vehicle system can transform ordinary travel into one of the game's most enjoyable activities.
Water could also play a more noticeable role in GTA VI. The game's Florida-inspired environment naturally includes extensive coastal and aquatic areas, and official imagery has shown boats and other water-based scenes. Water environments can add variety to exploration and create opportunities for missions, escapes, transportation, and unexpected encounters. If Rockstar successfully integrates land and water travel into the same open-world systems, the result could feel significantly more dynamic than an environment dominated entirely by roads. The combination of highways, urban streets, beaches, rivers, and open water could make Leonida feel like a genuinely diverse state rather than a single city surrounded by empty countryside.
